Governor gives blow to Shiv Sena, refuses to give more time to form government

The Shiv Sena, which is trying to form a government in Maharashtra, has suffered a major setback. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has refused to give more time to Shiv Sena. After the meeting, Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray said that the governor has refused to give more time.

During the meeting, Aditya Thackeray told the governor that talks were going on with the other parties. The governor has refused to give another 24 hours to the Shiv Sena. Aditya said that our claim has not been rejected. We told the governor that we want to form the government.

After meeting the governor, Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray said, “We told the governor that the Shiv Sena is ready to form the government.” He said that we had asked the Governor for 2 days, but he has refused to give it. Thackeray said that the Shiv Sena is in talks with other parties, but it is taking time to get their letter, so we should be given time, although the governor has refused to give time to the Shiv Sena.
